Hd750s for cabins?

I have a new to me boat with some outdated amps.

Thinking about  purchasing an HD750 for pair of rev 10s regardless.  (Had HD 900/5 and 600/4 in previous boat -- loves the amps and stacked 'em too).

Curious... What are downsides to using another HD750 for my 8 speaker cabins?  As opposed to 600/4.  Less adjustments I get but real world I'm not sure I need to.  Thought I'd seen 750/1 done before in that application.   Seems so simpler that way and plenty of clean power to all.

Might seem like silly question but my stereo knowledge is silly.  Thanks in advance for any help!!

You'd lose stereo (unless you use two), and you'd have to wire speakers in series/parallel to make sure you don't drop below 1 ohm load assuming you have more than four cabin speakers.  Other than that it'd work.  I'm not sure I see the advantage, unless you wanted to power say 4 pairs of 8s, in which case two 750/1s would be awesome.
