Cleaning wax out of microfiber

Recommended Posts

Anyone have a good tip for getting all the residual wax out of microfiber towels?  Started last night on the big clean/wax before it goes and sits in the lake for a week.  All my microfiber towels still feel and smell like wax after being washed in regular laundry detergent.  Not a huge deal but it would be nice if they were clean of wax when I'm using them with the Collinite 920 cleaner

Always you a detergent made for micofiber towels. I usually toss all mine in a 5 gallon bucket, fill up with water and add some detergent and let soak for a few days. Then I will wash them in the washer with the detergent. Also, when you dry them NEVER use any sort of dyer sheet.
