Scarpa Suppression Plate - remove it ?

Jens

Recommended Posts

I own a 2003 Response Barefooter 375 Hammerhead.

The Scarpa Suppression plate is on the boat.

If I want the boat to go faster shall I then remove the plate ?  anyone ?

Can I close the plate, I mean is it possible to vertical the plate ?  so it does not touch the water. Have tried but not managed.

We only wakeboard sometimes, never barefoot,...

I am from Denmark so hope you understand my english.

Have a nice day

Hi there Jens.

The supression plate realy won't hinder your speed but will hinder your boat to some degree to

sink at the stern for creating a defined  wake at a defined speed with blast.

You may just want to take it off all togeather,  and should you be interested in selling,

touch bases with Duchmalibu here on the forum, hes a avid barefooter and lives in Waspik Netherlands and

might be interested in the Scarpa Plate.  Just a thought if your wanting to sell.
