Wedge came off

We spent a long week at the river mostly surfing. Yesterday was the longest most intense day. When I pulled her out of the water and started wiping down, I saw the wedge had come off from the 2 arms and was gone. I have read threads and seen where others had an issue with the bolts working themselves out, but never dreamed I could actually lose all 4 and the piece itself.  Well, moving forward, where will I start looking for the part?

Your local Malibu dealer can get you the part if they are still available. There's some on eBay sometimes. Looking for a four screw foil may limit your chances of finding one. You may have to go to new arms and foil with the six screws. That is better anyway. Or go for the floating setup.

Bakes have your HID and they can order anything from Malibu

Don't think you can get the original wedge. You can replace with the floating wedge but need to put a new bracket on as the bracket for the floating wedge is different from the fixed wedge.

Bummer!!!!  I'd bite the bullet, go to a floating wedge, er, new manual stainless wedge (they don't float/move unless you hit something).    Much better design, bullet proof, and safer.  Plus, if you want to, you can modify it to get different positions.   You can probably find a used fixed wedge eventually but I'd bite the bullet and don't look back.

As Pnwrider said you'd need a new bracket too... but the good part is it bolts right up with same pattern as original fixed wedge bracket.  Just shinier. :)

Same thing as OP happened to me, manual fixed wedge with 4 screws. I was lucky enough to buy a replacement wedge foil from a crewmember. It was a 6 screw foil, so I drilled a third hole on my brackets in the middle, and the 2 original holes lined up perfectly with the ones on the 3screws wedge. Now it works great with 6 screws! I do check the screws every weekend though to make sure they don't come loose again.

I put a power wedge on a older VLX a few years ago. That's the only one I've ever seen for sale. I'm sure they are out there though. We didn't get the module with the PW so it would come up without moving. Otherwise it worked fine.

Update, Bakes has just the foil for the power wedge available, so I can just bolt a new one one, happy because I don't want to move to fixed or floating after having Power...now to figure out how to keep it attached!!
