Get this!!! Weird water leak

So I bought my boat two years ago, 12' a22. From day one, I had a water leak that would turn on the auto bilge about half way through the day. Anyway, I've tried chasing down the leak, replacing any cooling hoses I thought where bad, going through all the ballast pumps, etc. I then traced it down to the center bilge tank fitting that had a crack. I epoxied it the best I could, still had a leak. I then just decided to get over it and not mess with it anymore. I just installed a center bilge and would flip it on during the day.

Fast foward to to the last few trips out. I have done absolutely nothing to fix the leak. I figured since I get water in the bilge, I should pour some bilge cleaner to freshen the bilge area up. Poured it in, ran the boat all day, filled ballast, emptied ballast, threw wet jackets in the boat, etc and I have absolutely no water in the bilge. My bilge cleaner even dried up to a weird white paste. So now I'm pumped the leak is miraculously fixed but now I have to clean the dried up bilge cleaner.

But, if anyone can explain how a leak can fix itself, please let me know haha.
