Manual Wedge Pin Stuck even when depressed?

Hi All!
I have a 2007 Malibu Response LX I just bought a couple months ago. I tried to put down the manual wedge, and one of the pins will not go in all the way. I verified that I was pinching in both pins all the way, but the starboard pin, even though depressed all that way, would not move the pin in the bracket in *enough* so the wedge could move. I could feel the pin with my fingers still stuck in the bracket even when depressed all the way.. The frame of the wedge does not seem that it was hit and was still in alignment. It merely seems the pin is "hanging out there" in the frame even when depressed appropriately. Any advice? Thanks!
