How do you intend to use it?  I don't really get the idea of a Diamond hull on anything larger than a VTX.  What's the point?

Plan on using it for wakeboarding and surfing almost exclusively, but it seems like the wake is pretty unaffected with the diamond hull at wake speeds or lower.  I just have no experience with the diamond hull

What motor in each boat?  What elevation?

I have a '15 LSV w/ diamond hull and honestly I don't know how much difference it really makes at surfing and wakeboarding speeds.  I don't notice any but I am nowhere near a wake or wave expert.  Maybe that's why I don't notice a difference

With the size of crew you plan on taking out I would go with the LSV.

I bought my LSV new for less than the one you have mentioned.  Do you need a boat now?  Wait 90 days, and prices will be much more negotiable.

The cheapest lsv in the nation that I have found is $92,000 2016 brand new, hardly any options with a 410 and a g3.2 tower

Does anyone have the diamond hull or have ridden on a diamond hull?  We strictly wakeboard and surf but the diamond hill boat is much cheaper than all others out there

Are you quoting $92k for list price?  Not sure how you know what the prices are on boats until you really sit down and start negotiating.

First, I had a 13 lsv with a diamond hull and now have a 16 with a wake hull, I can honestly say I can't tell a difference. If you are willing to travel Stateamind has a 15 lsv wake hull with all the options G4 tower etc, that would be something to look at. It's got the 410 motor in it.

Shipyard in WI has a new 2015 VLX they offered to sell me in the high 70's. Might be worth a look. It's been sitting because of the mismatched interior accents.
