2003 Wakesetter VLX Wake setup

Just got the boat, but I have had a 01' sunsetter and an 08 Supra V21 in the past, and first run wakeboarding the wake was really wide.  I messed with the ballast and speed a bit, but can't seem to get it where I am used to.  Typically I run at 21mph and 70', the boat didn't come with a wedge but I am going to add it (my thought is that it will only make the wake wider though?).  Really just trying to get the the wake narrower so I can clear it easier. -Thanks

How about trying a shorter rope length?

That will work, I did run at 65' for a run and it was a little better but it ultimately becomes less forgiving
