stusumm 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Has anyone else had trouble with the front ballast draining on its own?I can fill the tank and after 1 or 2 pulls it is empty again. The water is not going into the bilge area so it must by siphoning out the drain port. Anyone have a clue? Go to top

Jimmy Buffett 64 Posted May 2, 2005 Might just be draining back out the fill line. Others have suggested the line needs a loop in it above the water line, or an inline check valve. Go to top
actionadd 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Most likely draining out the fill line, there should be a high loop in the line to keep it from draining out, the loop should be higher than the water line. Go to top
SacRiverRat 1 Posted May 2, 2005 Is the front tank a hard tank, or a sack? Go to top
stusumm 0 Posted May 3, 2005 Is the front tank a hard tank, or a sack?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>It is the new 350 gallon hard tank. The dealer indicated that they have seen this problem more than just a few times. I'll be interested to see how they fix it. Go to top
