At times during fueling my boat, I'm unable to get fuel in my boat. The fuel line seams to be blocked as if the boat is full of fuel, but I know the boat needs fuel. I usually go to a different gas pump on the opposite side of the boat and fill up. This doesn't happen all of the time. Is this a problem for anyone else? What's the deal?

Fuel does come back out which causes the pump to turn off. I should check vent lines. What's crazy to me is that it doesn't happen all the time.

When it happens again open the cap on the other side.  If all goes well it would indicate a problem with your vent line.
