Do they have it for Android???  I'm going to check playstore now.

Now that you've brought it up, are there any devices we could run off the Perfect Pass or Wave Control GPS signal?

@twitchee2 i have been using that same app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.richardsween.gpsvolumefree for the last couple of seasons. Its sometimes a little slow to react to the change of speed, but does the job nicely enough. Heaps better than having to adjust the volume manually every time a rider is downed. I have also installed Trigger https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jwsoft.nfcactionlauncher & have it setup such that as soon as I get in the boat & pair my phone with the stereo via bluetooth, Trigger enables the GPS volume app & starts playing my specified playlist. Its pretty cool & best of all both cost nothing.

Used this a little yesterday. Works pretty good. One compliant. I wish when the volume increases it would be gradual. Once it hits your max speed setting it goes from minimum to max. So for me once I hit 10mph, it goes from 15% volume to 80%.

Interesting. mine stepped up/down with one midpoint...but it was harder to detect when i was accelerating due to engine noise. I think if they added 'profiles' that would be great too. surf, cruise, wake, etc.

The GPS Volume Free for the android has 4 individual speed zones that you can configure. Not sure if its available for IOS

I am looking for a little pet project in android development.  I don't have an android phone to test that app with.  But if the currently available app falls short in anyway for our purposes let me know and I'll try to make one that's better.

Did this effect battery life at all?

It would as it requires gps to be on. But i always have my phone in a cradle & plugged into a charger when needed.
