Hi all,

I have a cheaper "airhead" ski rope handle, the "foam" on the handle is starting to rip off, exposing the aluminum handle bar. the kids use it for wakeboarding

QUESTION: any way to "re wrap" that handle with tape or ????

Hate to just throw it away....

thx!

@mtnbkr738:    Some handles can be disassembled and have a replacement tube installed.  You could search on youtube and find videos on how to restring a handle to save some $.  Cheap handles are pretty much a disposable item or a fast wear out item.  It also makes quite a difference on your hands to use a good handle or one with a good covering.

If it's just a "kids use handle" maybe try a re-wrap with something like rescue tape. It binds to itself - no adhesive to mess things up. Granted, rescue tape is spendy, so if a cheap handle, maybe not worth the tape expense. I would try it cuz I hate to throw stuff away too!
