1999 Sportster Finding beeping alarm problem

Recommended Posts

Shoeskiman

Hi All,

Looking for some help on a constant beeping. (not my boat.)

No overheat temp...

Oil level normal

transmission temp 95F (using a laser temp gauge.)

I did change the alternator belt.

Where to start....I am thinking I will pull each breaker to see what circuit is causing alarm.

There should be 2 wires above oil filter. Remove the one not connected to the "bulb". Beep should stop. If it does you have a bad oil sender that goes to the alarm. The one on the bulb goes to the gauge.
