Fin Setup for new riders

Cipro

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I did some searches, came up dry. Any recommendations to setup my boards for newbs?

My newb boards are CWB Tsunami, Ronix Marshmellow and Ronix Koal w/ Technora - Thruster

The Koal is the one I really want to know about.

Thanks

The smaller fins on the Koal will make it easier for beginners. Bigger fins make the board a lot more responsive and more sensitive to mistakes

Would you suggest a dual fin setup or a tri fin setup? or hell just put all 5 that came in the box :)

I just got my Ronix powertail today, it only had the 2.3" fins with it, with the one center fin. Does it make much of a difference if you put them in the front setting or furthest back?

with the fins forward the board is more responsive rail to rail and it also loosens up the board a little
