We got tired of having to continually vent our Plug and play Ballast Sacks. Decided to upgrade to 700lbs Eight,3 bags which only have one one top connection, so require you to disconnect the fill pipe to vent which obviously can't be done while filling.

Options were to fill from one of the lower connections or rig up a vent. Decided to do the latter. Two Y connectors and  1m of hose later and it works perfectly. The Eight three Plug'n play Tapered CTN 700lbs fits like a glove without interfering with the back storage trays.

Interesting, never thought of using the fill line as a vent too.  So air will have to force its way out while filling?  Do anything special other than run the line higher than bag?  Did you wye into tank vent?

Yes two "Y" connectors per side, one on the fill and other into the vent, vent line you connect into is high anyway, I connected in just before it goes through the hull. Before the bag would blow up like a balloon full of air, but now just fills with water, with air venting as it fills!. I was afraid that I would get water out of the vent while filling, be got none. as the bag gets full the air vents and then when fully full overflows just as before.

Arranged the "Y pieces so that on the fill water travels past the vent connection.
