Front Factory Locations?

Hello all-

Just purchased a 2000 Response - only 52 hours! - I installed a dual battery, amp, sub, and when I went to wire the deck, I located the factory speaker wires. Two of these were already installed and running, I traced the other two under the dash, but for the life of me I cannot locate where the holes are for the speakers. My Prostar 190 had precut holes in the gunnels for this, but the new boat has no indication of where they would go. I would love for some specific words or pictures of placements. Also, I am hoping - for my sake and my wife's - that I don't need to get the saw out...

Thanks!

Congrats on the new boat.  Really on 52 hours.  That is amazing!

Ok  assume the two speakers you currently have installed are the ones in the rear of the boat just in front of the rear bench seat on the sides?

My brothers response had factory cut outs in the dash firing up toward the windshield.   If the original owner opted for factory delete they may not had the cut outs done in the dash.    That is my guess as to why you cannot find the location to mount them but find the wiring under the dash.

As an update, I called the factory, and they said the factory locations are on either side of the walk through windshield. I did see a response with the speakers on the far corners. Can anyone confirm this? Who generally puts the holes in the dash, does it come factory ready if ordered with speakers, dealer does it when paid, or owner?

Does anyone else have their speakers in a different location?

Thanks,
