2008 VTX or 2012 Axis A20

Good Evening!

I'm looking at buying a good all around boat.  We like to ski, surf, and wakeboard (in that order).  The VTX I'm looking at is in pretty good shape and pretty well equipped.  It has 623 hours on it.  The A20 is also well equipped and has about 240 hours.  I plan to test drive them both on Monday but wanted to get some feed back from some of you experts :)

Thanks in advance for your input!

Also, they both are about the same price.  I think I can get either one between 35-37k.

Can't speak for the A20.

35-37K for a VTX is priced significantly lower than most that I've been looking at over the past 2-3 yrs.  Probably a deal, especially for a June sale, unless it has issues.

Does it have the cut-diamond hull or the wake hull?  If you want to ski, you're probably gonna want the cut-diamond.

If skiing is your first priority you'd likely be happier with a vtx on a diamond.  That, of course, depends on the wake that you are coming from and your performance level.

35 to 37 would be a good deal for either of those boats assuming they are in good shape.
