Sounds like you made your decision which I, not that it matters but...completely agree with.  If I were shopping I would take the LS3 over the G4 any day and I love the G4 but I am also a functionality over form type person.  70 hours is nothing and another "PRO" for the LSV is no need to do break in hours nor pay for the break in service at 20 hours.  This runs about $500 so consider that a savings as well.
