Quick help needed! 07 247 center ballast pump

I have an 07 247 and the center ballast tank is currently full because the drain pump went out. I'm getting ready to tow it a long distance and would rather not tow it with that tank full. What's the best way to access the center drain pump? Can I just remove the pump and let the water drain out the drain plugs?

You could do that. You could also hook up one of the working pumps and pump it out that way. Check to see if the current pump is clogged. Not a lot to go wrong on the aerator style pumps.
