Cannon plug help

I need to get to the receptacle side of the cannon plug (engine wiring harness).  Does anyone know how to remove the plate that the receptacle is mounted to?  This is for a 2002 LSV23 with Monsoon Chevy 5.7.  Thanks for any assistance.

I finally figured it out-- it's the plate that holds the engine control unit wiring-- mounted on a pedestal with one bolt attaching it to the xmission case.  If you need specific info, pm me.
