HELP - Wakemakers (Qwik-Lok) Flow Rite connectors

Stupid question, but....

Is there an easy way to disconnect the connector from the bag? Mine connected really easily, but I am having trouble taking them off (I have a leak so need to remove the bag). Obviously I push the red locking ring back as far as it will go, but the latching arms still seem to hold onto the flange on the bag connector.

Thanks

When mine leaked it was the o-ring on the male side. I wonder if the o-ring is wedged in there?

Every time I reconnect mine I put on a bit of silicone/teflon lube.

randv, try pushing the prongs together behind the rocker which will make them spread in front of the rocker.

Wiggle back and forth with brute force pulling the whole time, I recently started using rags to hold the 90 connector and the hose clamp which allowed me to work it harder than without the rags easier on the hands(New style fill connections have s disc around it to grip it better when pulling-though those would not screw into the vent hole in the mushroom bag-thread mismatch?).  Some of my red retention snap goes all the way down then easy release, some don't , probably should cut the tab that stops them, I also use the lube as I remove front bag each time cause vent hole leak ,  good luck stopping that front bag vent leak , new style bag vent/fill openings  still have problem with vent hole from bag fill tension against hose connector and the screw in fill piece into the vent hole.  I also try to pry open the ones that don't open correctly before I start the hard pulling,. The rags made a big difference
