Bow Sack Recommendations for a 2003 VLX?

Recommended Posts

Was looking to replace my two 400s that currently sit in the bow with a sack to sit under the bow seats in my 2003 VLX and this looks to be my only option: https://www.wakemakers.com/fly-high-integrated-bow-sac.html.  From what I hear and have read, the seats are too short to allow the sacks to fill up.  While this isn't necessarily a deal breaker, I was wondering if anyone else had any recommendations and/or if it does fill up enough to weight the nose down enough.  Currently I've got a full 400 and another that's about 1/2 full - I'm looking to replace those with this.

As an aside, I'd like to take it a step further and have the sack plumbed in, so no more running around with pumps, but I've not tried this before.  Any advice on taking that on as well?

I just use what you said, lay a sac In the walkway of the bow, but was really want to use the underwear sac even if it is less weight. Next year I want to plumb it also using a valve system but still trying to work out the details. I really don't want to drill many holes in my boat.

I have this same sac plumbed under my bow seats (same hull). I believe it gets about 300 when full. With this bow sac, the ski locker full and 500s in the rear the boat rides pretty good.

This is the build thread for my entire integrated ballast system. Happy to help with any questions there too.
