Sub problem

We have a new to us 2012 247 with the stock sub and amp set up and noticed yesterday that the sub only kicks in when the volume it turned up HIGH... once the sub engages we can turn the volume down and it will continue to work normally but in order to get it to start working we have to blast the volume. Has anyone else had this issue or have any ideas on how to fix it?

Does the amp's power light illuminate along with the others, when the system is turned on? Sounds like the amp may be set to sense input rather than 12V turn on

Ya the power light comes on as does the light on the remote sub dial, i double checked and it looks like everything is fully connected... Your right it does seem to be set to sense input but i don't know how to lower the lever of input it needs to engage. (if that makes sense)
