G3 alpha II wetsounds speakers

These speakers came factory on some malibu boats on the g3 towers

wondering if it's worth my while picking up a set used and will i even be able to make them fit on my illusion x tower?

next question would be for sound quality. Compared to loading up my alpha 1 with the kicker kms67 system which route would you take? Price difference within $100

Near field sound quality, id have to give the nod to the KMS67. Both are well built solid marine products that perform well. Power both with a solid 200-250 watt rms and both will have similar results at the end of an 80ft tow line. Just note, this is based on one pair of Pro 696 RS compared to the 4 pod KMS67.

Anyone ever seen them mounted on a illusion x?

The holes for screws I believe on the alpha II are right on top of the can. It's kind if s***ty but to be able to mount them on my illusion I think if I re drill holes more in the corner I can mount them level like the should be the with the same brackets as my alpha I cans
