2013 VTX vs 2007 VLX Wake

As a wakeboarder which would have a superior wakeboard wake?

2013 Malibu VTX Diamond Hull

2007 Malibu VLX Wake Hull

Both have piggy back setups, so that shouldnt be an issue as far as ballasts. They both also have 4 ballast setups with power wedges.

I would think they would be very similar.  IIRC the VTX is a couple inches wider which may equate to a little wider wake but the shape and size should be a very similar classic Malibu wake.

I would think the VLX if loaded right, I've never been on a vtx though.  Prob pretty similar.  I would keep the VTX with surfgate only cause my wife surfs.

I love my VLX wake which I have dialed in to exactly my riding style. However, as mentioned above im in a similar boat with the wife like to drive/surf VTX.
