Equip 2010 VLX with SurfGate Swimplatform

Dear Guys,

I'm thinking about buying a 2010 VLX. As you all know, there is no SurfGate available in this version. So I'm evaluating if it would be possible to buy a spare part "SurfGate Swim Platform" which already has the correct shape for installing my own gates. Would this be possible? I'm thinking especially if the mounting parts are on the same positions. And if there would be a way to order a swim platform as a spare part?

Does anybody already tried that?

Thank you for your replys in advance.

I'm going to say yes, you can make that work (assuming you can buy just the swim deck).  Even if the holes and brackets do not line up, you can put a plate of stainless steel underneath the platform, and screw the deck into it with the deck holes and then if off-set, screw the brackets into it where the bracket holes fall.  As long as the width and transom curve are the same.
