Bought a Diablo Gatlin drain plug light but cannot get wedge all the way down with it. Looking for ideas or options. What is everyone using or had success with? Thanks!

I have the same problem with the Hurley marine light. I am going to go above the plug and drill. Will post pics once it warms.

You can see photos of the hurley here: https://www.dropbox.com/sc/zyfh9fqcch8bby8/AABIF5S8kBoosIzbgaWAjlYIa

I am going to take the drain plug base off and mount above the drain plug flush.

If I do it again, I'll use the Seablaze X.  Look up MartinArchers photos, he has some great shots of them on his boat.  I ahve AquaLed on my boat, but are no longer in business I believe.  They've been pretty good though  They project farther than 20' back..

I got these for christmas but haven't installed them yet. I read some great reviews about them, they look very well built, and came with well written instructions on wiring them.  My girlfriend told me that the owner of the company called her to confirm her order and was incredibly helpful and friendly.
