Very slow for me, but works on Firefox.  I have found that formatting is wrong on Internet Explorer 11.

I personally don't like that the home page has Featured Products and Classified on the top of the page.  Not what I am interested in immediately and then I have to scroll down to get to the new posts.  I think that is the wrong priority for the top of the Home Page.

I submitted some similar feedback in my status the other day. The precious "above the fold" space should reserved for the most active content of a site. Seeing as this is not an ecommerce platform I was surprised by the positioning and real estate used for feature products. I eventually realized that I don't have any analytics access to this site and therefore I have no idea what gets clicked on the most. So i should probably just leave this to the experts and go delete my status, but my reaction was similar... :)

I do my own internet web site work for my personal business and I am not an web design expert, but I manage to plug through it.  I know how tough is is to make upgrades and work with the web hosting companies.

I give the owners and the moderators of the Malibu Crew credit for doing what that have to do to keep the site running.  The HTML changes that are happening at the level of the hosting sites are forcing me to re-do my internet web sites also and it is really a pain for me.  It must be even worse having to design and host an active blog site such as this!

The web designers and the hosting consultants that are helping the Malibu Crew people do this site do not have it running acceptably right now.  Having said that, I realize it can be tough.  But honestly, it is painfully slow right now.  I missed it when it was down for the upgrade because I love to monitor the site.  Now I almost don't even want to log in.

Hopefully we will be getting an update from the moderators on what the technical problems are and if there is a hope it will get better in the future?

This upgrade is still slow after a couple of days.  Content delivery services and cache should have been mitigated long before now.  Why such slow load times?

The site is in the middle of running rebuild processes that have to complete before the caches can be rebuilt. Because this was such a large update, those rebuild tasks are outside the scope of a normal site upgrade & will likely take some time before they complete. The choice between keeping the site down for more than a week vs. getting it up & usable (albeit in a very handicapped state) is a tough one, & we decided to go with the latter. But there were no good choices on that point.

On the mobile devices it is painfully slow on chrome,  Firefox is much better but still slow.

thanks to the admins, you have a tough thankless job.   a couple days of slow TMC is not the worst thing ever.

Though I never used the site from my phone before the upgrade, it works slick now for me from my iPhone. Typically forums are unreadable for me from a mobile device but this one works great, and fast! Hopefully it speeds up from my PC at work where I do most of my browsing ?
