Seal Skin boat covers

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have experience with Seal Skin brand covers? How do they hold up, fit, etc???? I know there are other/better covers, I am looking for feedback on this specific brand.

I had one on my old Malibu Euro for several years. I really liked the fact that it was 100% water proof, but as Bill mentioned above they do not vent at all. So for the first few years I had the cover the inside of my boat and the bottom of the cover got mildewy. Then I got smart and put 2 of the vents linked below in the cover and my boat stayed bone dry for several years until I sold her. I never trailered with the cover so I can not speak to that.
