Prop advice on 04 21 XTI

Hi all, just wanting people's opinions or experiences with different props for an 04 wakesetter 21 Xti. The stock prop is the Acme 515, and for the most part it's totally fine, but I wouldn't mind a bit more grunt when pulling a heavy skier or when I've got a full boat. I use it for probably 60/40 skiing/wakeboarding (it's a diamond hull so the ski wake is pretty good). I've heard the 525 is the most common upgrade, but I'd love to hear anyone's experiences on this model and different props, including 4 blades. I'd love to get the most out of the engine, but I don't want the ski wake to suffer or have it revving unnecessarily high when skiing, since I do that a lot. Any ideas?

I say this on every "prop advice" thread. Call acme or OJ, on a 2004 year boat they will have a good knowledge base and be able to tell you options and the trade offs of different choices.

I will give my subjective experience on the 515 vs 525, I have both but run them on a 2009 RLXI. The 525 is a bit firmer pull but it's not a huge difference from the 515. I've never tried the 515 with fat sacks since I settled on the 525 as my primary prop (just the last one I put on and never took it off so the 515 is my spare). The 525 can manage 1000 pounds of ballast and a wedge for wakeboarding/surfing. I don't do that much since I'm a slalom skier. Depending on total weight (crew and ballast) OJ or Acme may recommend something more aggressive than a 525, but remember it will cost you a little too end and you will run higher engine speeds for the same boat speed.
