Hi all

New to the crew

I have a 2010 Response 350 monsoon 348 hrs

Service required message comes up on start up.

I have read here to go into diagnostics and have no inactive or active fault codes.Has been more then 3 times start up and cool down.Boat running fine.Any ideas

I got the service required message on my 2010 23 LSV twice. Once when there was a bad battery, and once when the batteries needed charging. It could be as simple as that. Check the condition of your batteries and connections first.

Yes, could be low voltage alarm.

Thanks for the welcome,Au boat and I'm the capital.Canberra.

Batteries are good and have also tried to disconnect and reconnect batteries.Also turn on ignition and off 3 times to reset as in other posts I have read.

Any help much appreciated.

I had a similar problem for the first 150 hours on my boat. They chased the problem from electrical connections, batteries, spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, software updates, O2 sensors, injectors and more. My dealer finally got Malibu and Indmar involved, replaced the circ pump and some hoses and that has seemed to have fixed the problem. 250 problem free hours since then. I was pessimistic that a circ pump would be the fix but to my surprise, it seemed to have worked. 2012 VLX with 350.
