Tower up heights?

Recommended Posts

dalt1

Thought we had a thread with different boats tower up and down heights? I can't find it, can someone point me in the right direction?

I am specifically interested to know if the 2015 Vlx will go under a 10 Foot garage door without dropping tower?

It depends on the trailer it's sitting on and the wheels/options on that trailer. In TN you most likely have a BoatMate trailer, while my boat in CA sits on a CTW trailer, a post earlier today referenced a Phoenix trailer, and I'm sure there are more out there. Someone here could give you a measurement, but unless you're measuring the exact boat/trailer combo you're trying to fit in the garage be prepared for some variance.

But Neither of these have much on the newer 2015 and up model boats. I realize the height will vary from trailer and wheel packages but is any of the 2015 VLX packages exceeding a 10 foot clearance on garage doors?

My 2014 23 LSV fits under a 10 ft door with a Boatmate trailer. If I'm light on fuel, it will rub the tower light. I think the tower down specs for the VLX are several inches shorter than the LSV, so that should correspond to a few inches shorter with the tower up on the VLX.

Thanks, that is helpful. Going to build garage with 10 ft door and wanting to know what fits with tower up.

Ended up going with a 10'9" door.
