13 vs 14 vs 15

You don't need your dealer to do the work. You could contact indmar and see if they have an authorized shop closer. Then for motor issues (if they arise) they could do the warranty, but you'd still need the dealer for say vinyl or electronics issues

This has been posted before but I think they are crazy deals. Etco Marine in California is switching to Mastercraft and is dumping their Malibu inventory, subsidized by Mastercraft. I got the build sheets on the 3 LSVs and they are all about 38% off MSRP. Nicely equipped as well. If you are looking out of the area I would call them up. PM me your email if you want the builds. I ended up ordering a 2016 from Larson but was on the fence.

As for working the LSA, I push it harder than most would. It is rock solid temp wise. Does not overheat even in Arizona summer! Also LSA will not be working as hard as any other engine as it produces stupid amounts of power. So it runs at a much lower RPM when propped appropriately.

In my 14 I had LS3 it ran wide open almost constantly to push the weight. The 15 with LSA runs 1000 RPM lower. 3300 vs 4300

Shipping may not be as much as you think especially if you factor in what warrant transfer costs add up to be on a used one. The dealer is reputable and may be worth a call.

It would be a heck of a late Christmas gift!!

I looked at a 247 once, briefly. I just remember thinking that it was enormous, and there's no way I'd want a boat that big! Plus, having a boat that big generally means you get stuck with extra people! I can see it now, "go with him, he's got plenty of room!!" Ha
