It was more than Just the Gift!

So every Christmas my wife asks me "What on earth do you want for the boat this Christmas" ( She knows me well) So just about every year I pretty much know what i'm getting, And this year was no different, I dropped the usual hints etc. This year it was LED Docking Lights, My 2015 always seemed like it was missing something Up there! Well it started with my 23 year old daughter wanting to borrow my truck to move a table yesterday, sure I said, bring it back full..Well my wife gets home and said hey come with me and proceeded to blindfold me, ( Not what you think but i liked the idea..LOL She then spins me all over town and I have no clue where I'am. Next I get out and she removes the blindfold and shinning in my eye are the brightest LED lights on the bow of my boat! I was stunned, My wife and daughter arranged to have them installed, But here's the part that impressed me the most, They called my dealer for help,( AWS) First off it was one of the nastiest weather days of the week, My kid knows I never pull my boat with a cover or in the rain for that matter, They told her how to shrink wrap the sides and put the cover on, easy so far, Just a side note my kid has never pulled my boat in or out of the storage, and it's tight, She's really good at backing it down the ramp and she has only driven it on the freeway a few times, so anyway she takes it to my dealer, they install the lights, she backs it into the storage with no issue and completely wiping down the boat, trailer and all. ( Man I have trained her well) Let me tell you, It was by far the best gift I have received, Not just the lights but the effort to surprise me meant more then they know! Here's a few pic's, Oh and they had to do this yesterday because they know I stop by the storage from time to time to check on things! ( and on a side note, I have an 2015 F150.. Eco boost and it gets 18 to 19 MPG. I noticed when she brought it back, On half a tank and the MPG was 11.9, I told my wife, She must of ran the crap out of my truck how does she get 11.9 MPG LOL Now it all makes sense!

Nice. A little jealous. I'm pretty sure my wife wouldn't try that. If I raise my daughters right maybe I can get them to do it. I do love my wife, she has a lot of other good qualities.

They are the OEM Malibu docking lights, I never got to see the box or specs, They are made for 2015 and up
