Are the pics to large to display? Or is my computer just a pile?

I like the 3rd one (wakesurfing) best, although I would have liked to seen it framed a bit higher.

I debated that one as well but cropped in for some reason and liked it.

1 for the win! The dealership is always looking to sell a boat!

3,4,2,1, #3 not cropped. #1 with a little more depth of field.

2,1,3,4. But really, anyone of them with a split screen of the girl and the waterfall would look awesome.

Digging the first one the most. The boat and rider together in a good looking shot all around, nicely framed, good action going on, cool background.

As a wakeboarder nothing scares me like a big old Rally so I vote #2. However If the dealer is judging probably go for the one with a boat in it lol!

nobody has mentioned it so I will... the thing that made me pick #1 over #4 isn't the boat, it's the slack in the line and the way the rope curves. Very cool.

And ditto that too, my second choice.

Thanks all for the comments, I think #1 is pretty cool too but my favorite is probably 2 but it appears thats in 3rd place currently. I would have like to be wider but wasnt quite ready for him to go that big. All this guys spins are super off axis and make for really cool shots.

I should note its not the dealership judging but likes on the pic on their facebook page. I laughed pretty good when I saw the page asking for submissions as the photo in the back was mine. https://goo.gl/CkjH4B. I think its a little over processed, but at the time that is what I wanted.

Did you compete on the river? If so, then yup.

Just for the sake of the other thread. All shot with a 6D full frame. 1 - 200mm from shore and cropped in. 2 - 175mm from tow boat 3- 24mm from tow boat 4 - 70 mm from tow boat. I loved shooting with the 70-200, but looking at all my pics, I much prefer the wider shots showing the line riding into the wake and the launch spray. So 24-70 F2.8 FTW I guess.

#1 I wish the boat and spray from the boat was sharper. I would think a low F stop was used. With the 6D you could bump your ISO up and increase your F stop up. So what was the F stop and shutter speed?

#2 Very nice shot. I would have photo shopped the water tower out.

#3 open the framing on the top a little.

#4 Love the shoot but wish the tow rope was not in front of the head. And its better if the head was not looking back! I know that is getting picky!

All of this is JMHO and does not mean $hit if you as a photographer like your shots. Do you shoot bursts in situations like the above shots?

If so you might have the opportunity to get a much cleaner but very similar shot.
