Hey guys,

I am setup to finalize my order and demo a 22 vlx on saturday and was seeking some insight on how to weight the 15/16 VLX for wakeboarding? I've found many threads on surfing but no luck on the wakeboarding.

Any insight would be great!

I run it just like surfing.

full stock, 750's in the rear, 750lbs in the nose. wedge on 2

That has got to be a huge wake!!

I would consider myself intermediate and enjoy riding the new VLX at full bow, 50% center and rears, wedge in the maximum position (I like that hard lip)

I run pretty much the same as wakebrdr94 only 600Lb in the bow, It has been compared to as good as a G23, Not my words but a friend who rides both!

Factory MLS, wedge all way down and about 300 lbs in each rear locker, one average size adult in bow and wakeboard wake was money. Even if you just run factory hard tanks, and wedge the wake is more than most can handle. Not sure what level you ride at. I have found loading with 750's in rear bags and 600+ bow weight really does do much to the wake other than burn a ton more fuel and make your engine work a lot harder.
