2010 Malibu 23 LSV Interior Speaker Upgrades

Last winter, I upgraded my Tower speakers with the Wetsounds Pro 6X9's. Loved the upgrade! It made a HUGE difference! Of course now, the interior speakers are bugging me and have to go. I was considering going with the Westsounds XS-650's for the front and back sides (I don't have the speakers in the back seat). In addition, I was going to replace the factory amp with a Wetsounds SD6 amp. I have a couple of questions:

1. Has anyone already done this upgrade and, if so, how were the results. Did you notice a big difference in performance? Are the speakers worth the money?

2. Is the speaker a direct swap or is there a lot of work involved (ie. major cutting of trim/interior, replacement of wiring, etc).

Thanks in advance for the feedback!

The xs650's are a huge improvement over stock. And well worth the money

What do you plan to power from the sd6? Just the inboats? The sd6 is a lot of power for the 650's unless there are 2 speakers per channel.

Where are you located?

I am replacing all 6 of my interior speakers. I am located in Greenville, S.C. My main concern is making sure I can just slide the factory speakers out and put the new Wetsounds speakers in the same cut out.

How are you going to run the SD6? How many Pro696's?

You may be better off with a Syn4 on the in-boats, and a Syn2 on the 696's (for 4), or a Syn4 for 1 pair.
