Bought this beauty about a month ago . Some what of a project boat for the winter time . She's a 1990 with a rebuilt 1993 Gm 350. edelbrock carb and intake manifold . Big Air tower added , also alpine sound system with 12" rockford . Sound system not currently working , last owner cut out his amp to keep. So far got the teak platform restored , polished and waxed the hull , and gave the org vinyl a good cleaning .

looking to add :

2nd battery

2-4 tower speakers

That's sweet. Amazing how you can bring it back to life with the polish. What was the process?

Used a 3500 rpm buffer with a wool bonnet and Meguiar one step compound polish. Then finished with their wax. Whole process took about 7 hours.

Had a 90 skier up to a few years ago...Great boat. if the engine still has points, look at Pertronix..get rid of the points, will start easier...one of the best investments I made on the boat.

Yep!! simple to run, and maintain!! NO POS jbl radio, not working MUX switches and or electronics where the company is outta business.

I put 1000+ hours on mine and outiside of having to replace the throttle cable, it was all good as I knew it would always start and run like a champ. I am a tad AR about keeping it clean, oiled, waxed, etc. though. When I finally sold it, the person who bought it was impressed on how clean and well it ran.
