Yeah but 650lbs sloshes around madly in a 1000lbs bag, drives me crazy, plus makes draining a pain to start. Wiht the 650 you still have one seat for a person to sit in the bow.

1 person and a case of beer.

As far as water sloshing goes due to only wanting 600-700 lbs in the triangle bag you could just empty the stock bow ballast tank and fill the 1000 all the way for approximately the same weight. Unfortunately no room for another person and case of beer in that instance though hah

I don't think l could put 1000 on top of a empty tank and sleep well at night.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't even have my boat yet but from some pictures I've seen the hard tanks look just that, hard. I don't know how rigid they are to hold weight but I'd have to assume they are pretty strong seeing guys put 1100 lb bags in the rear lockers which are on top of the rear hard tanks.

Ever thought about putting lead in the bow??? I'm thinking about possibly putting a couple hundred pounds way up in the nose of my boat so I wouldn't have to mess with a bow bag.

I use lead in the bow. I keep 500 in there, the other cool thing with lead is due to its density it takes significantly less space. You can get it further forward, taking advantage of leverage. A bag spreads the weight over the entire bow, lead concentrates it. There is a difference. Example there is a difference between sitting in the bow and standing on the point of the bow.
