Santa Clara (NorCal South Bay) Malibu Service

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Just wondering if any of the NorCal South Bay members have any recommendations for boat service? Got a 2005 VLX and looking for a spot to fix my leaking center ballast, which is leaking from the top inlet fitting or somewhere around there. I found some old threads about it and pulling the tube from the spotter's seat storage, but don't have much time to do it right now.

Also, there is a slight water leak from where the prop axle goes into the hull and attaches to the engine, not sure what that is called. Other repairs would be trailer planks replaced, and possible trailer restoration (diamond plates fell off within the first year because of weak rivets, and now have a bunch of rusted areas).

Thanks.
