VLX Draft

I an looking to upgrade from a 2010 VTX to a 2016 VLX. Draft is an issue for me due to depth of lake in some areas. If i go with the diamond hull on the 2016 VLX is the draft the same as with the Wake Hull (27 inches) or will it be shallower?
