I have a miller tig and mig. The tig can also stick weld. Tig welding mild steel and stainless is not bad, aluminum is difficult. If you can tig aluminum you can weld anything. I repaired a Alum. Trailer fender for my Dad and practiced for 6 hrs then did the work. Also YouTube is your friend. Also as discussed above, a auto darkening helmet is a must.
