Maliview Button Lights stay on 2010 LSV

Recommended Posts

Noticed today that the lights on the maliview buttons are not going off. I'm pretty sure the had in the past? I pressed the All off on MUX and both MUX turned off but the button lights stayed on as well as the pointers on the tach and speedo.. Are they time delayed or ?

Thanks.

My Malivue is slaved to the key in the run position. Unless the key is in run position the Malivue is off and it is independent of the MUX switches which stay on for 30 minutes after key off according to the owners manual. You have rewired anything lately?

Nothing rewired. In fact I don't think it was a problem prior to this last weekend . The Display isn't on , Just the button lights as well as the gauge needle. Spoke with Malibu tech today and hadn't heard of this one.

We have the rubber push buttons on the sides of the screen on the '10s, at least on mine it is an April boat. There are 3 plug ins for that screen. Left and right connect to the screen behind their respective button columns, the blue cable is center mass from the Viper box and a 4th cable which I assume is for the GPS is just laying loose behind the dash. Not really anything to go wrong behind there to cause the problems seen. Almost forgot the plug ins for the speedo and tach are back there as well.
