Suction Cup Surf Gate

How do you like this wave compared with your listed wave?

The number of time I've been surfing you could count on 1 hand, I'm a complete beginner, not really qualified to make a comparison.

What kind of hardware was used for suction mounts?

Just basic 5/15" bolts, nuts and coupling nuts. Except for the suction cups, it's was built out of stuff I had laying around. I still haven't made a prettier one but plan to.

I'm worried about function more than fashion... Suction cups be had at Home Depot? Still trying to figure how the suctions would attach to a bolt...?

I'm still curious if steering is better since being more forward would have less "leverage" against the rudder. If I push the back of my swim platform my boat spins. If I push my boat where the suction cup gate would be. The boat still spins but not nearly as much.

Wondering the same. My manual gate works quite well but steering away from the gate results in a ridiculously large turning radius.
