Where could I find this exact part cheaper

Recommended Posts

I have been purchasing old, flooded, worn out, flooded, did I mention flooded, "sealed for life" Lenco actuators for a while now. I have been able to make a couple work but most are just good for parts.

If I could find this part just a little bit cheaper it would make it worth my time and investment to bring my actuator parts bucket back to life, I don't think $60 is worth it but I figured the crew may be able to help out.

TIA

That looks like a pretty standard Mabuchi motor used in most cordless drills. You can find them pretty cheap on Amazon but you may have to use your old sprocket on the new motor if you go this route.

I've got some RC cars and airplanes. What you'll need to find out is how many "turns" the motor has which determines the current draw and torque. It also looks like a brushless motor but can't tell for sure.

Take a look here to start http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0297p?C=CK

Some are even more expensive than the one you're looking at but most are cheaper.
