LS-1 Ignition Control Modules

I’m having an issue with the ignition control module on my 2001 Malibu Wakesetter with the LS1 engine. Mechanic says input is good but no output and it needs to be replaced. Indmar says they are $1700 for a new one. Is there a more cost effective source for these? How about getting it repaired or buying a refurbished one, any ideas???? Thanks…..

Certainly try the ebay route, a company called Great Lakes Skipper buys a lot of excess stock at auction and then resells, they might have a module, check them online.

Thanks for the tip. I did contact them but they said that part was too specific and they didn't have it. Does anyone know where I might get this one rebuilt or find a rebuilt/refurbished one? Thanks.....
