Building a Wave

Newbie here, and I need help building a better wakesurf wave.

My in-laws have a 2014 Malibu Wakesetter Texas Edition boat that I've been learning to wakesurf on. When I look at all the YouTube videos, and see other boats on the lake, it seems the other boats have a MUCH MUCH better wave to surf on. I think I need to adjust the presets, which is all we've used. The presets are:

10.6 mph

Back R & L, Center and Front Ballasts 100% full

Wedge in Full Down position

Surf Gate out

I just can't believe this awesome boat doesn't build a better wave than what I've seen...SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! Tips???

Many thanks!

Troll post? In case it isnt. Trying to surf without plug n play is like trying to ride a bike with flat tires. You can but it sucks. Add 750s in the back and a 600 in the front. Go surfing.

when in doubt with surfing add more weight via water or through the buffet line at your local golden corral .

http://www.wakemakers.com/fly-high-fat-sac.html (x2) for the rear

http://www.wakemakers.com/fly-high-integrated-bow-sac.html for the bow

and there you go for $700 you will have one of the best waves on the lake.

Like everyone said, more weight in the rear. IMO if you add a lot of weight in the rear, Wakemakers custom claim 830 lbs each (IXFE claims 1,000 lbs each, which I believe), you'll need bow weight. I found up to 550's don't require additional bow weight assuming you have the hard bow tank. Other advice:

- Ignore the presets

- Calibrate your speedo with GPS; mine said 11.2 mph but was 14+ mph on GPS.

- Stay in 15+ feet of water
