My first attempt this year.... what a blast. ...

I also tried for the 1st time this year - finally made it like 30 seconds after about 5 or 6 fails. I've been trolling craigslist ever since for a cheap beginner board!!!

How much you looking to spend McMiller? I have one that I'm looking to maybe get rid of and upgrade. Although like everyone told me, once you get one and start riding you'll prob be looking for an upgrade quickly.

Crazy at end of video he's strapped in and wearing his helmet(A Must for Foiling), but the kid is on his lap with no helmet on.

Understand that typically when we do this kind of thing, it's at the end of a regular ride (when you would typically wear a helmet), and we do it at a lot slower speeds than a normal ride, so if there was a crash, it would not a big deal. And we don't do any tricks. I would never condone a rookie rider taking someone else for a ride, but accomplished riders who can go for miles in all kinds of conditions without falling, I don't see a problem with it.

Thank Bill.

There is a big difference between cut speeds of 40mph and heights of 16+ feet and 15 mph behind the boat.

I have seen plenty of videos of children riding surfboards with their parents. I personally think that is way more dangerous than what I'm doing with my kid.

And that 2 year old can swim without a jacket. Not for long but he can. I would never do anything and I felt was not safe for my child. Thank you for your concern though.
