Wet sounds Bluetooth

Thinking of mounting this to transom for control at rear of boat mount via 15 foot 3.5 aux cable to my ws420eq let me know any of your thoughts.

once you are connected via Bluetooth, why not just control from the persons phone for volume and play selection....this way you the driver and owner of the amps and speakers can safely set the max volume and have TOTAL last say on the system

so with that said, I put mine next to my WS-420 and it keeps it out of harms way water and (***stupid peoples hands) for longevity,

*** Stupid people, are ones that do not understand playing distorted loud music that blows up your system. or ones that understand, but are being clouded with "Beer Ears" (think Beer Muscles)

Remember that the WS Bluetooth device has Volume Control too. not just track selection

so if the source player (phone, Ipod, etc,) is turned up too high and the Bluetooth is turned up too high, you will be pushing bad sound to your amps and out your speakers...

It would be more for track control and to turn the volume down I'll set up max volume when I tie up and I hang out at the rear any way. Just not sure if sound quality would be affected by running and long aux cable.

As long as YOU are the one controlling things you should be OK, just dont tell your friends what it is you are doing....

as for the long cable, as long as it is of good quality I would not see a problem, but there may be some audio engineers on the forum to confirm this

my only other concern is the waterproof-ness-ability of the BT controller from WS
