I'm making plans for next weekend...life changes....wifey started work after 8 year Hiatus...little one is in school now too...things like that

I get it man. Boating is the icing. Family is the cake. Gotta get the routine straight again... And it's smart to see that and work to accommodate.

I don't winterize really.... Heated garage. It paid off this year when we had a 70 degree day in February this year. It's nice to be able to pull the boat out on a whim. Hoping for more days like that in October.

That would be nice.

I rode ever day over Labor Day weekend but this cools weather and TVA dropping lake levels tells me I have 1-2 weekends left. It happens every year but I have to say that we did rack up 140+ hours this year so it was a good year overall.

As long as I have water at my dock I'll be surfing.

I don't understand why TVA is in such a hurry to drop the levels.

Install the TVA app and you see predictive lake levels and yearly graphs. It makes no sense to me but it always shortens my boat season every year. Grrrr. I am not ready to quit surfing but I'll have to put up the boards very soon.

Got to hand it to Afun here.

First it was shirts off and Sperrys, now it's Mama's got a new job and the kid is off to school. Next thing he will tell us is that the leaves are turning. After that it will be a question about whether he will see snowflakes or Santa first.

As for me the half the kids are in college and the other half high school started a few weeks ago.

The question for M&D is, Can we sneak alone more boating day in this time? Always the optimistic hope that the answer will be yes.

Thanks, Afun for popping the question.....
